Session cookie

An HTTP-only cookie holds an opaque session identifier for sign-in, your own orders and managing your interest signup. It does not contain your email, password or card details, and site JavaScript cannot read it. It expires after up to seven days unless revoked or replaced earlier. Signing in replaces the session; signing out revokes it. The hosted interest demo uses HTTPS and a Secure cookie. Local HTTP previews are restricted to the operator’s computer. The interest form creates no additional advertising or tracking cookie.

Shopping bag and checkout recovery

Your guest bag uses local storage for product identifiers and quantities, persisting until you or the store clear it. A signed-in bag is stored on the server. Session storage temporarily remembers checkout references, selected items and the email used for a checkout retry. This helps avoid duplicate checkout requests and reconnect you to the correct order. It is normally removed when its browser tab closes; checkout references are also removed after a confirmed payment. Browser storage does not contain your payment card details or password.

Appearance preference

If you choose a light, dark or system appearance, local storage remembers that preference. Without a saved choice, the site follows your device's color setting. You can remove the saved preference through your browser's site-data controls. This preference is not used for profiling or advertising.

Analytics, advertising and Stripe

The current storefront has no advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Page-speed measurements stay in your browser and are not sent to an analytics service. Stripe's separate hosted checkout may use its own cookies and security technologies, described in Stripe's privacy and cookie notices. Opening a link to Stripe takes you to that provider; this notice does not describe all of its separate practices. Future optional tracking will require updated disclosures and any legally required choice or consent before it starts.

Managing storage

Use your browser's privacy settings to view or delete cookies and site data for this store. Clearing local storage removes a guest bag and saved appearance; clearing session storage removes checkout recovery details. Blocking session cookies can prevent login, order access or checkout. Sign out before clearing site data if you want the current server session revoked immediately. Clearing browser storage alone does not delete server-side account or order records. Do not clear recovery data while payment is still processing unless you understand you may need support to locate the order.

Questions and updates

Email support@ettch.store with a storage or privacy question. The linked Privacy policy describes the information and providers involved. We will update this page and its date if the storage purposes change, and obtain consent where required. This local demo does not ask you to accept nonexistent advertising cookies.

Hosted checkout is covered by Stripe's Privacy policy and Cookie policy. These links open in a new tab.
